Weaponry is one of the game mechanics in Shooty Skies. It allows the player to defend their plane from Enemies or Bosses. Like all weaponry, holding still will charge an attack that launches missiles when the player moves again.
New weapons are acquired by collecting the blue containers released from the Gift boxes. Weapons are stack-able, typically doubling in fire rate as they are gained. Some weapons can be used from the beginning of each mission, either buy purchase or unlocked through the Mystery Box. Unlocked weapons are available for 2 hours, only one can be chosen at a time.
